- Business Information: Salon details, rental agreements, schedules, etc.

- Communication Records: Emails, messages, support tickets, etc.


3. Data Retention Period


- User Accounts: Data associated with user accounts will be retained for the duration of the account’s active status. Upon account deactivation or deletion request, data will be retained for a maximum of 90 days before permanent deletion.

- Financial Records: Data related to financial transactions will be retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with legal and tax requirements.

- Business Operations: Data required for operational purposes will be retained as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.


4. Data Deletion Requests


- User-Initiated Requests: Users can request data deletion through their account settings or by contacting support@boothpass.com. Verification of identity will be required to process these requests.

- Automated Deletion: Inactive accounts (no login activity for 12 months) will be flagged for review and potential deletion after notifying the user via registered email.


5. Deletion Procedures


- Electronic Data: Data will be deleted from active databases and systems. Backup copies will be purged according to the backup retention schedule.

- Physical Data: Any physical records containing personal data will be shredded or otherwise destroyed in a secure manner.

- Third-Party Processors: Data held by third-party processors will be instructed to delete or anonymize personal data according to our policy and their contractual obligations.


6. Data Deletion Confirmation


- Users will receive a confirmation email once their data deletion request has been processed. This email will detail what data has been deleted and provide information on any data retained due to legal obligations.
